Croatia - Trogir
Like many other towns in Dalmatia, Trogir is located on the waterfront and offers a beautiful view of the Adriatic Sea. The over 2000 years old town of Trogir is characterized by its historical squares and buildings. Due to its special charm and flair, the old town was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1997. Churches, museums and main squares are definitely worth a visit. During a tour you have the opportunity to feel this ambience yourself and enjoy it to the fullest.
History and recreation meet in the old town, because the surrounding city beaches Medena and Pantan (nature reserve) invite you to a relaxing bathing day after a long walk. If you want to enjoy more nature, you can reach the beautiful offshore island of Ciovo by crossing the bridge. This offers you a variety of possibilities to explore secluded bays, experience lively beaches or just be impressed by the view. Several times a day there is also a ferry (line 606) from Ciovo to the neighboring picturesque islands (Seget Donji, Drvenik Mali and Drvenik Veli).
In the evening, the restaurants and bars of the old town will tempt you with traditional mediterranean cuisine with wonderful local delicacies. Relax with a glass of wine to end the evening or explore the nightlife of the city, just as you like.
